Thanks David and Iva for sharing the response from the manufacturer with us... L.R. Nelson has just demonstrated that they take client satisfaction seriously.
Below is a comment from the manufacturer after David and Iva contacted them:
David and Iva,
I am sorry to hear of your issues regarding our product. All of our sprinklers have a two year warranty. If the unit has been purchased within that time you can either send us the receipt or product itself with a note stating the issue. We will replace the unit with comparable model at no charge as long as it has been purchased under the warranty. If you are sending the receipt, make sure you include the model number with as well. As soon as we receive either, you should expect to see your replacement within approximately 2 weeks. Address is as follows:
