I sharpened my mower blade - Why is it still tearing up grass?

Question - I sharpened my mower blades, but the grass is still horribly torn after mowing. What could I be doing wrong?



Answer - Could you please give details. Is the grass torn all over on in certain patches? Was this happening before you sharpened your lawn mower blades? If yes did it get bad or worse afterwards?
