About Lawn Sprinklers

Lawn sprinklers are the most effective way of making your yard look great! Paired with proper fertilizer at the start of spring, they will have your lawn looking greener than any forest. Sprinklers are the best defense against the sun’s harmful rays, so that you will not end up with any crispy, yellow blades of grass that may make your summer a dry desert.

Unleashing The Power Of Lawn Sprinklers

Sprinklers take away the hassle of hosing down your lawn every few hours on bright, sunny days. It also saves you tons of money, since you would no longer have to buy the various attachments to your water hose that would make sure you get some kind of decent spray out of it, for a thoroughly empty wallet.

Available Options

When trying to decide on the type of Sprinkler to get, you should always remember that there are so many options available. So take your time to shop around then make up your mind on the one that suits you. Here are a few option that are available on the market.

1. Above Ground Lawn Sprinklers- These are good for small lawns in which it would not be feasible to start digging the ground for a major installation. They are usually cheaper and easy to install.

A cheap option in this group is buying some sprinkler heads and connecting them directly to your watering hose. Again this is suitable for small lawns.

Some professional landscapers use above the ground models for their sports turf and golf courses, but this is being rapidly replaced by pop-up sprinkler heads. They however retain the options of installing the pipes under-ground or above ground.

2. Under Ground Or Pop-Up Sprinklers- These are usually installed inside the ground. They pop-up whenever they want to water the lawn and then go back under ground after the job is finished. This gives the added advantage of not having unsightly sprinklers dotting the lawn. It is better suited for large lawns and as you would guess, it is more expensive to buy and install. We recommend that you seek professional help if you have a large lawn and intend to go that way.

Note : It is good to note that there are many other sprinkler variants available like the accurain robot etc. which are also good but we advise that you do some research before you buy.

Lawn Sprinklers: The Talk Of The Town

Once you install your lawn sprinklers, you will find that neighbors from all over your area will pass by and remark, "Wow, what a perfect lawn that is! I wish my lawn looked as green and as healthy as that."

They may even come and ask you how you achieved this technological wonder, and you can tell them: "I had them installed! Now all I have to do is cut my lawn, and that’s easy enough. Lawn sprinklers sure saved me time and money, so I think it’s time you got some, too! Your lawn will thank you, and so will your wallet."
