1. Clean your garden tools after use. This simple yet effective process can make them last longer.
2. If your tool has metal parts that are NOT rust-proof, you should apply a coat of oil to the surface before you store. This will prevent rusting.

4. Treat the wooden handles of your garden tools to prevent decay or termites infestation. Ask your local tool shop for the wood treatment options available.
5. It's safer to replace broken handles than to repair them. Repaired handles break more easily and cause more accidents.
6. Read the manufacturers manual before you use any tool. Make sure it is assembled well. Use it well. Take care of it well. If ever in doubt, call the customer care line at the back or inside-front page of your manual.
7. Garden tool care involves keeping blades sharp. You will save energy and time this way.

17. Don't be afraid to call the manufacturers' help-line. After all you paid for your tool.
